Warrant Apprehension Team

Abington Warrant Apprehension Team began with the realization of a need to better prepare officers when performing special operations, i.e.: search warrant executions, arrest warrant apprehensions and vehicletakedowns. Although every officers receives basic instruction in these areas, there is such a potential forinjury and death due to the nature of these operations that we decided to form a close knit group of officerswho could train together and get confident in knowing how each will react to a given situation. Members of ourteam have received special tactics training as well as countless hours of firearms training.
